Saint Joseph the Worker was a carpenter at Nazareth who provided for the needs of Jesus and Mary by his labor, and initiated the Son of God into human work. Saint Joseph knew that all comes from God and he devoted his life to carrying out God’s will. Though he was not a rich man, he provided for Jesus and Mary by the sweat of his brow and his deep love for them.

Our parish is a wonderfully generous community. Like Saint Joseph the Worker, we have received much from God. We too live lives of thanksgiving to God and through our own labors we offer our life’s work in support of our family and our parish.

The Saint Joseph the Worker Guild offers us the opportunity to continue our good works in thanksgiving to God as we enter into the promise of our faith – eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Please consider becoming a member of the Saint Joseph the Worker Guild. The size of the gift or percentage of the estate earmarked for Saint Joseph Parish is not of importance. The inclusion is what we celebrate and appreciate.

None of us lives for oneself, and no one dies for oneself. For if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord; so then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. -Romans 14:7-8
