FAMILY FORMATION
The family exists at the heart of all societies. It is the first and most basic community to which every person belongs. There is nothing more fundamental to our vitality as a society and as a Church. A family is our first community and the most basic way in which the Lord gathers us, forms us, and acts in the world. The early Church expressed this truth by calling the Christian family a domestic church or church of the home. As Christian families, you not only belong to the Church, but your daily life is a true expression of the Church. Wherever a family exists and love still moves through its members, grace is present. -Excerpt from Follow the Way of Love: A Pastoral Message of the USCCB to Families

Saint Joseph offers a number of family formation programs, reflection and prayer opportunities, and community building events throughout the year. We hope to offer families opportunities to gather together and strengthen the light of Christ already present in them. In doing so, they can continue to shine as signs of God's loving presence to others. These programs and events are announced in the bulletin and on our website.
