The Community Life Commission sponsors Welcome Sundays four times each year. New parishioners are invited to attend the 10:00am Sunday Mass and are invited to introduce themselves at the end of the liturgy. After Mass, new parishioners are also invited to a brunch reception to get to know members of the Saint Joseph Community.
ARE YOU A NEW PARISHIONER?
You are welcome here at Saint Joseph! Please see this note of welcome from our pastor, and feel free to contact the parish offices at (574) 234-3134 to join the parish or get involved.
All new parishioners will be invited to a Welcome Brunch within a few months of joining the parish. If you have not received an invitation, contact the parish office.
All parishioners are invited to attend the receptions following our Welcome Masses. It's a great way to meet new people and warmly welcome new individuals and families into our community.
Volunteers are also needed to help provide food, take pictures, set up and clean up. Within this ministry, there are plenty of ways to get involved and something to fit every interest and schedule:
- calling new parishioners to welcome them to the parish and invite them to the reception,
- attending the reception to help welcome new parishioners,
- providing food for the reception (ex. purchasing a food item such as fruit, bagels, juice, etc. or donating a baked good),
- and helping with set up and/or clean up on the day of the reception.
